Rules and Instructions:
Participants in the various elementary schools will collect their bugs in the fall. Then the ugliest bug will be chosen. A description is written and the bug is sent to the collection site. Then it is just a question of waiting. The winning school will receive a high quality stereomicroscope. There will be a number of runner-up awards including two stereo microscopes for second place. All participating schools will receive a poster showing light microscope and scanning electron microscope photos of your bug.
