Angles and Things

If you wish to download a version of ImageJ to your computer's hard drive so you can evaluate images a download can be obtained at the following site. After downloading Image J it will run in a separate window.
When you view an image with ImageJ you will have two windows open at a time ImageJ and at least one image) so you may want to go to your control panel on your computer and change the monitor size so that you can readily move between the different windows.
Measuring Angles using ImageJ
Go to File,
and open samples. Take your Angle
Tool and click on one length of the open angle. Draw your line down to the
apex and then out the other length. Go up to Analyze, click on Measure
and you should have your angle. Determine if your angle is a right, obtuse,
or acute. Refer to the glossary for definitions of the angles. NOTE If you get
a log in box, log in as student and the password spdc.

2. Measure each angle of the roof. |
3. Measure the angle where the roof meets the wall. |
4. Measure the angle of the front gable of the building. |
5. Measure the gable on the church. |
