Jim Ekstrom

AutoBio:

I retired in June of 1999 fter 40 years of teaching. (30 years at Phillips Exeter Academy) During that time I taught General Science, Earth Science, Geology, Biology and Human Physiology. My particular love has always been physiology. Coupled with that has been an interest in microscopy. In addition to histology and photomicrography I collect -- as my finances allow -- old microscopes.

Imaging:

While I am retired I still devote considerable time and effort to computer technology -- particularly, the role it plays in imaging.

I conduct workshops and give presentations on imaging to general science and biology teachers.

I also have some limited funds and this allows me to travel and offer software to biology teachers interested in sponsoring such a workshop. Feel free to contact me if you have are interested in such a workshop.

Happy Imaging
