3-D Images are produced by taking two photographs of the same object at slightly different angles. Then a copy of one image and two copies of the second image are commbined (RGB to 8-bit color) and viewed with glasses having different colored lenses. (Usually red left and blue right)

You will need colored glasses to observe these images.
