| Always true
to its billing as a big game, this was an exciting match against rival |
| Andover.
Undefeated Andover came out strong and served up the first seven points |
| of the match.
Our passes were good, as they were the whole day, but we couldn't |
| get the
attacks we needed. We played the remainder of the first game roughly |
| even. The
second game was probably our best this year. We sided out easily, |
| worked hard
to find holes in the Andover defense, and shut down their offense. |
| After falling
behind 7-14 in the third game, Soo Roh scored seven straight on |
| her serve.
Andover regained their composure and took a 23-28 lead when Soo |
| came back to
the service line. She put away 6 more points, but Andover capitalized |
| when she
missed the next serve and took the game 29-31. Deflated by the close |
| loss, we
didn't have much left for the fourth game. Everything we had been doing |
| so well
suddenly left us. Troubled by miscommunication, the passes were poor, |
| leading to
poor sets and hits either into the block or into the net. After playing such |
| a terrific
match for three games, it was a disappointing way to finish. |
