The first game of this match started slowly, and the score remained close until
Lucy Abell scored three service points to take a 19-15 lead. The subsequent
servers each scored a few points and we took the game by a 12 point margin.
Although the play was slow, we sided out very well. St. Pauls began the second
game with an unnerving 11 point run. Once we managed to get their serves back
over the net, we dominated play and came back decisively. It was good to see
that we didn't get discouraged and fought our way back. The third game was
less decisive, as we made more errors. Some strong attacks from Lucy Abell
and Kate Kelly made it clear that we were the better team.
