In 1992, a schedule of 5 interscholastic games were arranged for club volleyball players. Fifteen girls participated in these games and won all of them. After the team beat the Andover JV squad, a game was arranged against Andover Varsity. In front of a packed gymnasium at Andover, the Exeter "club team" won by a score of 3 - 1. The team was led by hitters Lisa Grant and Mandy Begay. The next year, the team was given varsity status.
